Seapal Vallarta is about to conclude water improvements of drinking water lines on Rivera del Rio street between Valentin Gómez Farías, to Lázaro Cárdenas street in the El Remance neighborhood – which will help provide water to Centro and Emiliano Zapata neighborhoods; in which 3.5 million pesos are being invested under the PRODDER Program.
The improvements - 380 linear meters of 16-inch diameter PVC pipe, replacing the previous one made of asbestos-cement that was completely deteriorated. – will guarantee an efficient and quality service to the Centro and Emiliano Zapata (Zona Romantica) neighborhoods, explained Carlos Ruiz, director of operations for Seapal.
During a supervision tour of the water improvements by Mayor Luis Munguía, Ruiz said the improvements are suitable to guarantee an efficient and quality service in the Centro and Emiliano Zapata neighborhoods, which has been a constant indication of the president to be replicated throughout the city.
Carlos Manzano, director of studies and projects, said that the water improvements are 95% complete, and that a 16-inch diameter weldable steel siphon was also installed, which will connect to the existing line at Gallery 3 of the Cuale River and at the Lázaro Cárdenas bridge.
