Hundreds of revelers turned out to the annual Drag Derby, which took place again along Púlpito between Olas Altas and Amapas. For the first time, the event benefited two organizations: the Amapas Neighborhood Association (the organization that presents the event every year during Pride Week) and SETAC, the HIV/AIDS education and service center in Puerto Vallarta.
Before the festivities began, O&APV’s Jerry Jones spoke with Amapas board member Don Pickens—the owner of boutique hotel Casa Cupula—who shared information regarding the event and its beneficiaries.
