This event, in the making for a couple of years, began in the midst of a pandemic, a time of introspection and reflection. 𝙳𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚢 𝙽𝚎𝚗𝚞𝚔k𝚎, who shared her passion for sculpture with Oscar Rolón, initiated a friendship that quickly evolved into a unique artistic collaboration. «Barromorfosis» is the fruit of this friendship and collaboration, a window into the personal battles of the artists against depression and anxiety. This exhibition serves as a reminder of how art can be a powerful means of personal healing.

Each of the 27 sculptures on display is a testament to the transformative emotions the artists have experienced on their journey to self-discovery. The pieces reflect the depths of the human psyche and the struggle for self-love and forgiveness.

In Barromorfosis, you will immerse yourself in a world of fantasy, inspired by the magic of mushrooms and mythical creatures. The sculptures rest on paper mache bases, meticulously designed to evoke the beauty of mushrooms and the fantasy of creatures like fairies, elves, and mermaids. Every element in «Barromorfosis» is an invitation to explore self-discovery through art and imagination.

"Barromorfosis," created by the talented sculptors Dani Nenukke and Oscar Rolón, invites you to explore the healing power of art and self-discovery, opens on Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at Biblioteca Los Mangos. It will remain there for 21 days.
