Harkening back to the 1920s when alcohol was illegal to purchase (in the United States), a new “speakeasy” type bar is opening in Puerto Vallarta, offering a new concept that has yet to be seen in Zona Romantica.
The Social Club, Basilio Badillo 447 Zona Romántica (next to the Tunnel Bar). This bar replicates the style and atmosphere of the old speakeasy nightclubs. While it will be catering to the LGBTQ+ community, it is open to all.
Live music, and unusual performances are in store for visitors, but all will be unannounced in keeping with the mysterious theme of an old speakeasy.
The Social Club open from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., filling a void in the bar scene by staying open later than many of the other bars.
